The Desafío TENERIFE TEIDE 360º is a non-competitive Gran Fondo sporting event with UCI category, at free speed (Cyclo-sporting events) carried out with mountain bikes, in a semi-self-sufficiency regime, at the pace that each person sets themselves and whose objective is to be able to ride around the Teide in 1 stage.
The planned distance is around 127km and 3,700+.
The maximum time and cut-off times will be very comfortable so that it can be easily overcome by any athlete capable of covering the distance of the Challenge.
The route of the Tenerife Teide 360º Challenge will be made public once the entire route has been closed, with the competent authorities authorising the event. Strategic crossing points, such as refreshment posts, security checkpoints, dangerous areas, etc. will be published. The profile of the route will also be published, so that participants can familiarise themselves with the hardest points of the route and thus be able to establish their strategy.
